In fluid movement combined with breath, in creative and wisely structured sequences:

  • let go of psychophysical tensions (from the hips and legs, abdomen, chest, back, loins, neck, shoulders, head)
  • you will strengthen the muscles throughout your body (legs, buttocks, abdomen, arms, back)
  • you will stretch properly and become more flexible in your muscles,
  • you will return to grace and freedom of movement,
  • you will learn to breathe with a diaphragm,
  • you will develop healthy habits (posture, breathing, controlling your thoughts, watching your emotions)
  • you will learn your needs and respect them,
  • you will practice perseverance, patience, acceptance, silence,
  • you will open up to joy, pleasure and gratitude.

Additionally, in relaxation

You will practice meditation in the art of mindfulness, concentration, conscious breathing and non-judgmental observation – at the beginning of the class, and at the end of the class, you will experience regenerative relaxation with original therapeutic stories.

Katarzyna Kata – Psychologist Na Macie, certified psychologist and yoga instructor

I am a psychologist, consultant of positive psychotherapy and at the same time a yoga, fitness and pilates instructor. My everyday work environment is Malta, the beautiful surroundings of Cybina and the Wilda district of Poznań, although I often pack my mats and books and visit various other cities, countries and festivals. In addition to my own psychological and yoga practice, you will also meet me in the MuscoYoga project (Poznań and the rest of the world), in the House of Sound (Poznań) and in projects related to positive psychology, health psychology, positive transcultural psychotherapy, psychosomatics of the body, yoga (therapeutic, but also dance and dynamic) and art therapy. In the muscoYoga duo, together with Wiktor Łoś, I also run development and business workshops in the field of, among others interpersonal communication, authentic public speaking, conflict resolution and training in creativity, creative thinking.

I am fascinated by the narrative and holistic view of human functioning, health and well-being. I encourage you to look at yourself as the whole story of which we are both heroes and authors.

In properly directed imagination, I see a great healing power, which is the key that opens the door to deep self-knowledge, emotional and creative development. Working with the psyche is a tool for me to change my way of thinking into a more rational and positive one. Working with the body during yoga practice – a tool for general health improvement – our material map of experiences, needs and beliefs.

I myself am a story that I am constantly writing, as are articles on yoga and psychology and therapeutic fairy tales.
